Monterey Bay Football Club Announces Partnership with Oscar's Playground on Cannery Row

SEASIDE, California - Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) announced today a new partnership agreement with Oscar's Playground, a video arcade, escape room, and event location on Cannery Row in Monterey. As a Proud Partner of the Club, Oscar's Playground now becomes an official Watch Party Location for all Monterey Bay F.C. away matches. At all home matches this season, fan's will be able to enjoy the new Oscar's Playground Fun Zone in the Cardinale Stadium plaza. Oscar's Playground will also host up to four fun and creative halftime experiences throughout the season. In addition, the partnership will include in-stadium and broadcast/television elements.

"Our partnership with Monterey Bay Football Club represents a value alignment that works for Oscar's Playground," said Barrie Riddoch, Owner of Oscar's Playground. "We wanted to participate in community activities that represent families, fun, and being a good sport. The Union brought all of these things together for us with an opportunity to contribute to a growing professional organization that gives back to the people they serve."

Oscar's Playground gives its customers the opportunity to escape, play, and imagine with over two dozen arcade games ranging from old-school favorites to modern releases, including headliners such as Minecraft Dungeons, Halo, Jurassic Park, Skee Ball, Down the Clown, Air Hockey, and classic Pac-Man. A new selection of pinball machines has just become part of the playground, with a rare-to-find Jaws game as one of the highlights. There are also several escape games, including Mystical Manor, Innocence, and A Christmas Story, claw machines with prizes, playful selfie stations, and much more. Beyond the games, Oscar's Playground offers an event space with a historic view of Cannery Row.

Monterey Bay continues the 2024 regular season with a home opening match against Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday, March 16 at Cardinale Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT.
