
Monterey Bay F.C. Announces Dates for First-Team Open Tryouts Ahead of 2023 Season

SEASIDE, Calif. - Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) has announced today that its second annual open tryout for the first team will take place over two days starting at 8 a.m. PT on Saturday, February 25 and will continue on Sunday morning, February 26. Tryouts will take place at the California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) soccer fields that neighbor Cardinale Stadium in Seaside.
This month's open tryout will give local players the opportunity to be evaluated by Monterey Bay F.C. Sporting Director and Head Coach Frank Yallop and his first team staff ahead of the 2023 regular season. In addition to the open tryout, each registrant will receive a complimentary ticket to Monterey Bay's preseason match against Oakland Roots SC at 5 p.m. PT on February 25 at Cardinale Stadium.
Registration will open online on Saturday, February 11 at 6:00 p.m. PT. Limited spaces are available, must be 16 years of age or older. Please make note of any health concerns during registration. Medical personnel will be onsite in case of injuries. All registrants will be required to sign a tryout waiver before they will be allowed to participate. Tryouts for MBFC2 will be announced at a later date.
