CLEVELAND - The AHL's defending Calder Cup Champions, the Cleveland Monsters, proudly powered by Constellation, were defeated by the Milwaukee Admirals on Thursday at The Q by a final score of 1-0. With the loss, the Monsters fell to 5-8-0-1 overall this season and with a .393 points percentage, currently sit alone in seventh place in the AHL's Central Division standings.

After the first two periods slid by scoreless, Milwaukee's Matt White notched the game's only goal at 7:23 of the third, a power-play one-timer from the heart of the slot, thanks to assists from Frederick Gaudreau and Alexandre Carrier.

Cleveland net-minder Anton Forsberg fell to 5-4-1 in net for the Monsters despite making 33 saves on Thursday, while Jusse Saros delivered a 35-save shutout for the Admirals, improving to 7-1-0 on the year between the pipes for Milwaukee in the process.
