Monsters Announce Full 80-Game Broadcast Schedule

For the first time in the four-year history of the team, all 80 regular season Lake Erie Monsters games will be broadcast live on the Monsters Hockey Network. Serving as co-flagship stations, ESPN 850 WKNR and AM 1220 WHKW will each carry 40 games live beginning with the season opener on October 8th, 2010.

The 2010-11 season marks the fourth year that ESPN 850 WKNR will be carrying Monsters games, while Salem Communications-owned AM 1220 WHKW The Word will be airing games for the first time.

Additionally, for the third straight year the Monsters will partner with both FOX Sports Ohio and MY43 WUAB to televise 15 games during the 2010-11season in Cleveland. FOX Sports Ohio is the official Cable Home of the Monsters, while MY43 WUAB is the official Over the Air TV Home of Monsters. All telecasts will be simulcast live on either ESPN 850 WKNR or AM 1220 WHKW radio.

Returning for his second season as the Voice of the Monsters will be broadcaster Ben Holden, who handles the call on both the radio and television sides. He will once again be joined on the televised games by Sean Ritchlin, Jock Callander and Kenny Roda.
