
Moncton Wildcats Announce Changes to Business Operations

Moncton - After more than six years with the Moncton Wildcats, most recently as Director of Business Operations, Keven Charland will move from the team to a management role at Midland effective December 28, 2020.
"The career experience and opportunities I received with the Moncton Wildcats were second to none. I want to thank Mr. Irving for his confidence in me as a young professional," said Charland. "I was also privileged to be nominated for the Future Leaders Development Program at Mr. Irving's request. The unique professional development program provided an amazing foundation for my career and future growth." Charland, originally from Victoriaville, Quebec, played in the QMJHL for five seasons and following that, he graduated from the UniversitÃÆ© de Moncton with a business and marketing degree. In June 2014, he joined the Wildcats as Manager of Business Development and was responsible for developing relationships with local and national sponsors. Charland became the Director of Business Operations in May 2019.
"Keven truly lives the values of the Moncton Wildcats," said Robert K. Irving, President of the Moncton Wildcats. "His leadership skills will transition well in this new role. It's a good testament to our team and the community that Keven wants to make Moncton his home and grow his career here."
The incoming Director of Business Operations is Josh Harris, the Wildcats current Manager of Business Development.
"In a short time, Josh has demonstrated his commitment and dedication to our team and organization," said Robert K. Irving, President of the Moncton Wildcats. "He also showed his resiliency and ability to manage difficult situations as one of the key contributors to keep our players, staff and fans safe and informed during the COVID-19 outbreak."
Harris joined the Moncton Wildcats in the spring 2018. He has a bachelor in kinesiology and exercise science from Acadia University and an MBA in sport and recreation management from the University of New Brunswick. He was previously the Executive Director of Football New Brunswick.
