Monarchs Re-Sign Matt Marcinew

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and General Manager Doug Christiansen announced today that the Monarchs have re-signed Matt Marcinew for the 2018-19 season.
The Monarchs are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Los Angeles Kings.
Marcinew, 24, returns to Manchester having played in 52 games with the Monarchs during the 2017-18 season, racking up 35 points on 11 goals and 24 assists. He also recorded one game in the AHL with the Ontario Reign.
The 5-foot-10, 190-pound native of Calgary, Alberta, spent four years at the University of Denver from 2013-17, and was named alternate captain of the Pioneers for his senior season. During his time at Denver, Marcinew played in 160 games, tallying 64 points with 29 goals and 35 assists.
Marcinew and the Monarchs open the season on the road against the Brampton Beat on Oct. 13 before returning home on Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. to face the Newfoundland Growlers. For tickets to Opening Night, Season Memberships and group tickets, please contact the Monarchs front office at 603-626-7825.
