
Moller and Sweden off to WJC Finals

Pardubice - Czech Republic: Team Sweden gets a dramatic overtime winner from Mikael Backlund to defeat Team Russia 2-1 and advance to the World Junior Championship Final. Chilliwack Bruins forward Oscar Moller did not factor in the scoring today, but was a major factor as he generated an unbelievable 8 shots on goal as Sweden threw 38 shots on Team Russia goalie Sergei Bobrovsky.
Team Sweden now moves on to the Gold Medal game, which will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. Pacific on TSN.
In other Bruins related news...
Bruins forward Ryan Howse (91) and Team Pacific will be playing for the Bronze Medal after a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Team USA at the World U17 Championships in London, ONT. Howse scored a goal in the defeat and Team USA and Bruins prospect, forward Drew Shore (91) also scored in the semi final.
Bruins prospect, defenseman Cole Gelley (91), was named a first team all star as his team, the NW Giants, picked up the silver medal at the prestigious Mac's Midget tourney in Calgary.
