Over the past couple of years, D.C. United and the New England Revolution have developed a healthy rivalry with each other, and Saturday is the first of four meetings between the clubs on the campaign. United come into the game in a rich vein of form having moved to the top of the league table, unbeaten in four games and winners of their last two, scoring eight goals in those victories. The Revolution have slid to a loss and a draw in their last two games, after seemingly turning their season around with a pair of impressive victories.

FC Dallas return to Pizza Hut Park to start another three-game homestand, still atop the MLS overall table and unbeaten in their last four games. They followed two wins and a draw in their most recent three-game home with a come-from-behind win in New York in their last match. The Columbus Crew head to Texas in the throes of a desperate injury crisis - especially in goal, where they've lost four 'keepers to injury this season - and coming off a midweek loss at D.C. United that matched the heaviest in club history.

The Los Angeles Galaxy head to Houston for their first-ever match against Dynamo in uncharted territory. Their five-game losing streak has tied the club record, and their current eight-hour scoreless run is a club mark, and is now less than a full match away from the league record. Dynamo return home winless in their last three games, though they've lost just once, with two road draws wrapped around a loss to the Chicago Fire in their match at Robertson Stadium.

A couple of teams in need of a victory come together at Arrowhead Stadium. The Kansas City Wizards are riding a three-game losing streak - coinciding with the departure of their three starters who are members of the U.S. national team - the first two coming on the road before a home loss to D.C. United last week. The New York Red Bulls have won just once on the campaign; seemingly, they were on their way to doubling that total in their last 10 days ago before two goals gave FC Dallas victory at Giants Stadium.

They play host to a Colorado Rapids riding a three-game unbeaten streak that started at The Home Depot Center on May 20 with a 1-0 victory against the Los Angeles Galaxy - the first of two 1-0 victories against Chivas USA's fellow tenants in just 11 days time.
