NEW YORK (Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019) - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Orlando City SC forward Nani in violation of the league's policy regarding hands to the face, head or neck of an opponent. Nani has been fined an undisclosed amount for his actions in the 59th minute of Orlando's match against the New England Revolution on Sept. 14.
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Orlando City SC in violation of the mass confrontation policy during the 59th minute of their match against the New England Revolution on Sept. 14. Orlando has violated the mass confrontation policy for a second time this season, and the organization and head coach James O'Connor have been issued undisclosed fines for their actions. Additionally, Orlando forwards Dom Dwyer and Nani were issued undisclosed fines for escalating the mass confrontation.
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found FC Dallas forward Dominique Badji in violation of the league's policy regarding hands to the face, head or neck of an opponent. Badji has been fined an undisclosed amount for his actions in the 57th minute of Dallas' match against the Chicago Fire on Sept. 14.
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued an undisclosed fine to FC Cincinnati defender Kendall Waston for failure to leave the field in a timely manner after receiving his red card in the 87th minute against the Montreal Impact on Sept. 14.
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Toronto FC in violation of the mass confrontation policy during the 59th minute of their match against the Colorado Rapids on Sept. 15. Toronto has violated the mass confrontation policy for a third time this season, and the organization and head coach Greg Vanney have been issued undisclosed fines for their actions.
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Minnesota United FC forward Mason Toye guilty of simulation/embellishment. Toye has been issued an undisclosed fine for his actions in the 56th minute of Minnesota's match against Real Salt Lake on Sept. 15.
