
Mitchell Named Co-Performer of the Week

FORT WAYNE, IN (March 25, 2013) - Tony Mitchell of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants was today named NBA Development League Co-Performer of the Week for games played March 18 through March 24. The Rio Grande Valley Vipers' Andrew Goudelock was also named NBA D-League Co-Performer of the Week. This is Mitchell's second time receiving the honor this season.
The 6-6, 216-pound forward out of Alabama led the Mad Ants to a 2-1 record during the week of March 18, averaging 34.3 points per game, along with 7.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. On March 22 Mitchell made a game-tying three pointer as time expired in double overtime, and buried the game-winning jumper in triple overtime against the Austin Toros. He recorded a double-double that night, scoring 47 points and pulling down 12 rebounds.
