Kearney, NE. - Storm Defenseman Mitchell Miller has been named the USHL Defenseman of the Week for the second week in a row and fourth time this season. Through forty games played in the 2019-2020 regular season, Miller has now doubled his previous single season highs for goals, assists, points, and plus/minus. He has scored eight goals, recorded twenty-five assists, for thirty-three total points this season. His plus minus rating is currently +10, the highest of any Storm defenseman this season. Last week, Miller was named one of six Alternate Captains for this year's Tri-City team. In its most recent rankings, NHL Central Scouting Bureau ranked Miller the 48th best North American skater prospect for this year's NHL Draft in Montreal, Quebec. Miller previously announced a commitment to play college hockey at the University of North Dakota.

"Similar to last week, Mitchell's consistency was on display this weekend, and it's nice to see him recognized again by the league for his performance. His approach to what he does shows throughout the week, the consistency in his game has been there all year, and I think that's his biggest strength." Associate Coach Ethan Goldberg
