Mississippi to hold first free agent tryout this weekend

Greenville, MS. Coach Andy Stoglin of the ABA Greenville, Mississippi professional basketball team announced today that he will hold his very first free agent tryout camp this weekend, Saturday, August 28th. According to Stoglin, "Since the day we announced the team, my phones have been ringing off the hook from players interested in trying out. So, I've scheduled this first one - and we'll take a look at some talent."

The tryout will be held at the I-55 YMCA on Fortification in Jackson, Miss. Pre-registration cost is $100 and walk-up registration will be $125. The deadline for pre-registration is Thursday, Aug 26. All registration forms and fees (money order/cashiers checks) should be mailed to PO Box 54333, Pearl, MS 39208 and made out to Village Sports Ent. For proof of payment for any uncollected pre-registration fees, be sure to bring a receipt for the cashier check or money order.
