Missions power past Express

Round Rock Express News Release
The San Antonio Missions got a pair of home runs from Jose Lopez and one from Justin Leone to provide enough offensive punch and down the Round Rock Express, 7-3.
Lopez got San Antonio started when he hit his first homer in the third off of Nick Roberts. That gave the Missions a 3-0 lead. Jacques Landry provided power of his own, though, when he hit his fifth home run with Round Rock the following inning.
However, that shot was negated when Lopez hit his second of the game, also off Roberts, the next inning. That gave San Antonio a commanding 6-1 lead.
Round Rock battled back late with Chris Burke and Chris Tremie driving in runs. However, that was not enough against the Missions.
Landy led the way for the Express with a pair of hits, including his home run.
Gustavo Martinez (5-2) was the winner and Roberts (1-4) took the loss.
The Express will return to Round Rock for a four game series against the El Paso Diablos starting Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
