New Jersey Jackals News Release
Little Falls, NJ- Mission accomplished! The Jackals led from start to finish, defeating the New Haven County Cutters by a score of 6-2, and winning the South Division Championship for the first half of the 2004 season.
The Jackals, who were forced to play five games in three days, did what many thought they couldn't do. They swept two consecutive double headers from Elmira, leading to the one game playoff in New Haven, and the Jackals were simply sensational.

A solo homerun by Grijak, his sixth of 2004, made it 6-2, New Jersey.
New Haven starting pitcher, Tony Harden, pitched six innings, giving up four earned runs, on seven hits, while striking out only three. He was awarded the loss.
