Miracles Lose a Tough One to Power

(MONCTON, NB) The Moncton Miracles lost a tough one the Oshawa at the Moncton Coliseum with a final score of 101-100.

The first half ended with Oshawa having a 52-48 lead with both teams playing hard. The third quarter was the game changer with the Power outscoring the Miracles 30-19. Moncton answered back in the fourth quarter though outscoring Oshawa 33-19 but it was still not enough.

Akeem Wright was the top scorer for the Miracles with 35 points and 14 rebounds. Trayvon Lathan followed with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Brandon Robinson led the way for the Power with 19 points. Tut Ruach was right behind him with 18 points and 6 rebounds.

Technical fouls were handed out to: Power's Rick Bodiford and Papa Oppong, Miracles Akeem Wright.

The Miracles play their next game at home against the London Lightning on Tuesday, February 21st 2012. Game time is 7:00pm at the Moncton Coliseum.
