Miracles end season with a Miracle
February 23, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Mississippi Miracles News Release
Greenville, MS. The ABA Mississippi Miracles experienced a true miracle last week while returning home from a road game in Georgia. After playing two games with the Atlanta Vision, ice highway road conditions caused the minivan with five Mississippi Miracles players to swerve out of control, strike an ice concrete bridge, resulting in a nearly totaled vehicle.
"The miracle was that no one was seriously injured," states Rev. Ronald V. Myers, Sr., M.D., Chairman of the Mississippi Miracles. "It was truly an end of the season miracle! We are looking forward toward our next miracle in 2007 when the Mississippi Miracles become ABA champions!"
