Rockstars announce media launch party

Chicago, IL. Marques Sullivan, president of the ABA Chicago Rockstars, announced that he will be holding a Meida Launch Party announcing the arrival of one of the ABA's 2006 expansion teams that will begin play in November. "I will be naming our head coach and our GM for our inaugural season. It will be a historic day for us," said Sullivan. "We will also announce our first player tryout date and location."
The Rockstars have partnered with Fokus Apparel to create their uniforms and Rockstar merchandise. Fokus, a Chicago-based company, is a "lifestyle" apparel company whose ownership defines its identity. An elite group of athletes and entertainers joined together as co-creators, developers and marketers of the Fokus image. "Our athletes convey the message that "fokus" is essential in life to perform to our maximum potential," said Michael Burke, president and CEO of GetFokus Inc.
The Media Launch Party will be held at SPOON located at 1240 N. Wells, Chicago, ILL 60610 from 430-730pm on Thursday, March 16th. Appetizers and refreshments will be served. "We will hold a VIP after-partyu for our celebrity friends, family members, and honored guests from 9-2am," said Veronica Sullivan, Director of Entertainment.
