FORT MYERS, FL (May 18, 2012) - The Fort Myers Miracle return to Hammond Stadium on Monday, to begin a jammed packed seven-game homestand. It will include a milestone, an appearance by television's most popular principal, a super-duper firework display and the opportunity to have a holiday picnic in the outfield.

The Miracle welcome the Clearwater Threshers for a four-game series beginning Monday, May 21. Sometime prior to the 7:05pm first pitch, the 2,000,000th fan will come through the gates and will receive a prize package worthy of the honor. It's Silver Slugger Monday Club brought to you by Humana and Sunny 106.3. If it's Monday then it's BUCK MONDAY with $1 popcorn, $1 hot dogs, $1 12 oz. sodas and $1 licorice. Plus, fans can win some great prizes with Monday Bingo and seniors have the opportunity to stroll the bases after the game on foot or in a rascal.

The dogs come a barking on Tuesday for the second Gulf Coast Humane Society Dog Daze of the season at 7:05 p.m. All dogs get in for free and they will certainly enjoy the concourse pet fair which begins at 6 p.m. We are also looking for the best stupid human pet tricks and if you got game we want to see it! Tuesday's are also 2-4-1 Tuesday with offers on domestic draft beers, wells, sodas and hot dogs. Pick up that day's copy of the Naples Daily News or Bonita Daily News for a special ticket offer.

The Miracle host the annual tribute to the Negro Leagues on Wednesday, when they don the uniforms of the Newark Eagles and Clearwater represents the Homestead Grays. Beginning Wednesday through Friday, fans will be able to bring old phone books for recycling with DEX and receive a special ticket coupon. To celebrate the end of the school year, all Junior Miracle Kids Club members are invited to an ice cream social in the picnic pavilion at 6:15 p.m.

Alice Cooper reminds us that "School Out For Summer" on Thursday and that means the principal is ready to party. Dennis Haskins, who played the role of Mr. Belding on TV's "Saved by the Bell" makes his first ever appearance at Hammond Stadium. He will throw out the first pitch and be involved in other activities around the ballpark, including a post-game karaoke party. Haskins appearance coincides with Thirsty Thursday where half-price beer and well drinks brought to you by Erickson's Drying System, Budweiser and Beasley Broadcasting. All teachers with valid school identification receive a free ticket to the game courtesy of Rasmussen College.

The Miracle roll into the weekend against Palm Beach with Friday's Team Card Set Giveaway. The first 750 fans will receive the 2012 edition that someday is sure to be a collector's item. Fill 'er Up on Friday's with the All-You-Can-Eat menu for only $14 that includes a general admission ticket for the game, brought to you by Bahama Breeze, Budweiser and Hampton Farms. The menu features hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, popcorn, peanuts and fountain soda thru the end of the 6th inning. Anyone with an All-You-Can-Eat wristband can enjoy $1 beer at the specified window. Bahama Breeze offers the opportunity to throw out the first pitch, just by stopping at their table on the concourse by 6:30 p.m.

The skies will explode on Saturday night with the annual Memorial Weekend Fireworks Show courtesy of Miller Lite, Famous Dave's and Wells Fargo. The first 500 fans receive a special gift from Wells Fargo.

A holiday weekend usually means a picnic. The opportunity exists to have a picnic in the outfield prior to the series finale. The picnic package must be pre-ordered. Pre-game catch on the field and sprint the bases post-game highlight a Family Fun Sunday.
