Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release
FORT MYERS, Fla. (August 8, 2014) - British golfer Chris Wood sure does know how to have a ripping good time... and so do the Miracle! Any fans wearing tattered, battered, torn, cut, split or frayed pants to the doubleheader with the St. Lucie Mets at JetBlue Park on Tuesday, August 12 will receive free admission.
The Miracle are saluting the wardrobe malfunction of Wood's infamous four-pants day at the PGA Championship. Shooting a 66 is impressive, but doing it with busted trousers... seamless.
If fans can't find a spare pair of trousers, or three like Wood, then the Miracle will supply a comfortable foam seat cushion to ease the burden of a failed set of pants. The Miracle have your a...ahem, derriere, covered with fanny friendly box seats at JetBlue Park.
The first game of the doubleheader is actually a resumed game from June 26 and will pick up in the top of the fifth inning at 5:05 p.m. Game one will be played through nine innings and be followed by a second game to seven innings. Gates to the ballpark will open at 4 p.m.
Fans entering the gates will have to choose between the boxer or brief entrance.
JetBlue Park is located east of I-75 on Daniels Parkway. For more information, visit www.miraclebaseball.com or call (239) 768-4210.
