
Miracle Get Familiar Face Added to Their Roster

FORT MYERS, FL (May 5, 2006) - The Fort Myers Miracle are getting a familiar face added to their roster as infielder Matt Tolbert was sent from Double-A New Britain to the Miracle on Friday afternoon.
The 24-year-old Tolbert spent all of the 2005 season with the Miracle hitting .266-3-46. In 111 games he slugged 20 doubles, six triples and an on base percentage of .326.
This season with the Rock Cats he hit .216-0-1 in 11 games. In 37 at bats he had two doubles with a .270 slugging percentage and a .268 on base percentage.
Tolbert was a 16th round draft pick by the Minnesota Twins in 2004 and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi.
The Miracle roster now stands at the maximum of 25 players, 12 pitchers and 13 position players.
