Minot Minotauros News Release
St. Cloud, MN - The Minotauros stay busy on the road this evening playing their third game in as many days. After splitting a weekend set with the Minnesota Wilderness the Tauros head to St. Cloud, MN to take on the Norsemen. The Tauros enter the game looking to avenge last Saturday's loss to St. Cloud while the Norsemen attempt to bounce back from a Friday/Saturday sweep at the hands of the Aberdeen Wings.
The Tauros took three of a possible four points from the Minnesota Wilderness the last two nights to kick off the road trip, winning 6-2 on Friday before dropping a 2-1 decision in overtime last night. The Tauros expect Kyle Kukkonen to return to the lineup giving the tired group a boost. Kukkonen had six points in two games against the Norsemen earlier this season.
The Norsemen also got a boost this weekend with Thor Byfuglien joining the team as an affiliate player for the weekend. Byfuglien scored last night against the Wings. In goal expect to see Josh Langford who has St. Cloud's last three wins against the Tauros posting a 2.61 GAA and .908 SV%.
Puck drop is at 5:00 p.m., the Farmer's Union Insurance Pregame Show will kick off 15 minutes before puck drop both nights on all four outlets of the Minotauros Network: HockeyTV, Mixlr, Facebook Live, and gotauros.com/listenlive.
