Minnesota United FC News Release
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Cast your vote after every Minnesota United game, home or away, to select the Securian Man of the Match. Securian Financial Group has joined forces with Minnesota United for the 2016 North American Soccer League season to bring this weekly voting contest as well as other unique content, which will be featured throughout the season on United's website and social media channels.
Following each Minnesota United match, fans can cast their vote for the Securian Man of the Match by heading to Minnesota United's Twitter page and retweeting the Man of the Match graphic of their favorite player. The player who earns the most votes will have a featured video highlight package from the game posted on the team's YouTube page.
"Securian is proud to sponsor Minnesota United, our soon-to-be St. Paul neighbor, as the team prepares to join Major League Soccer," said Michael Webster, Securian's second vice president for enterprise digital strategy. "During this exciting time, Securian Man of the Match is a great opportunity to support our community and test new ways of sharing the Securian story with people in the Twin Cities and beyond."
Throughout the season, as a part of the sponsorship, Minnesota United players and Securian will provide a series of interviews and unique content.
