
Minnesota United Parts Ways with Andrei Gotsmanov

SAINT PAUL, Minn. (Tuesday, April 12, 2016) -- Minnesota United announced today that it has released Andrei Gotsmanov. The midfielder has been on Minnesota's roster since August 2015, after previously training with the club. Gotsmanov also played with Minnesota during the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
During his time with Minnesota, Gotsmanov made 50 total appearances, six of which were during the 2015 season. He scored three career goals and had six assists with the club during his three-season tenure. All of the midfielder's goals came during the club's 2011 Championship season, with two of them coming in each leg of the semifinals that year to send Minnesota to the Soccer Bowl.
