New York - The New York Cosmos announced that GCSA's Jozy Altidore Soccer Academy will be the official training partner of the Cosmos. This partnership will help deliver premiere soccer day camps for the seven-time North American Soccer League (NASL) championship winning team.

The club will work with GCSA staff to fully train their coaches, ensuring that program participants will learn and continue to develop their skills in the Cosmos style.

"We are excited to be able to offer more programs for kids of all skill levels across the New York Metropolitan area," commented Erik Stover, New York Cosmos Chief Operating Officer. "On these programs young players will be coached in the same way as our current and past players, including Raúl and Marcos Senna," he added.

The New York Cosmos re-booted in 2013 and have become famous for their style of play under Head Coach Giovanni Savarese, which includes short passes, working the ball through various channels and maintaining the ball.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with the Cosmos to bring to our camper athletes the highest level of soccer training. Having our camper/athletes spend time every week with pros like Carlos Mendes, the team Captain, makes this summer soccer academy a truly unique experience", said Bernie Tessler, CEO of GCSA.

Programs are held in Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and New Jersey information on dates and rates can be found at: http://goldcoastsportsacademy.com/programs/soccer
