
Minnesota United Announces Summit Brewing Company as Official Craft Beer

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Friday, July 3rd, 2015) -- Minnesota United is proud to announce its partnership with Summit Brewing Company as the Official Craft Beer of Minnesota United. Summit will also present the Summit Brewing Company Starting Lineup.
"We are thrilled to partner with Summit Brewing Company," said United President Nick Rogers. "Summit Brewing has long recognized the power and significance of soccer and we're excited to help them tell their story to our fans."
Based in St. Paul, Summit has been brewing locally inspired beer since 1986. It produces 15 types of craft beer including eight year-round, five seasonal, and several limited releases.
As Minnesota United's Official Craft Beer, Summit beer will be available at all home matches. Summit will also host a Taproom Takeover watch party for the away match against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers on September 26th at one of its partner bars. Final details on the Taproom Takeover will be announced at a future date.
Minnesota United returns home for the Fall Season home opener on July 11th against the Ottawa Fury. That match kicks off a three-match week of soccer for the Loons who take on Jacksonville at home on July 15thand play an international friendly against Club León on July 18th.
