Minnesota Swarm To Host "Dog Night" at Xcel Energy Center

SAINT PAUL, MN - For the first time in it's six-year history, the National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Minnesota Swarm will provide dog owners and dogs alike the opportunity to enjoy a lacrosse match together.

The Swarm (5-9) will be hosting "Dog Night at the Hive" this Saturday, April 17th at Xcel Energy Center when the team faces the Philadelphia Wings (4-10) at 7:35 p.m. CST.

During the game, the entire Upper Level will be reserved exclusively for dog owners and their pets. From 5 to 6:30 p.m., owners will be able to walk their dogs around the concourse area as well as visit booths and dog friendly exhibits set up by local organizations such as Can Do Canines, Pet Yard Pick-Up, The Pet Project, and MNSNAP.

In celebration of this historic event, the Swarm is offering a special "Dog Night" ticket package. For only $10, fans receive (1) Upper Level ticket and will be able to sit next to their dogs for the game. Each additional ticket in the section is $10.

Dog owners must sign a waiver prior to the game. Waivers will be available that night at the arena or can be obtained in advance by calling 1-888-MNSWARM. Owners and their dogs must enter Xcel Energy Center through Gate 4, which is located on 5th St.

There is a limit of (1) dog per owner/adult. Dogs must be kept on a standard 6' non-retractable leash at all times during the night. Owners will also be responsible for maintenance and clean up of their pet during the entirety of the event.
