BLAINE, Minn. - Jeff Cosgriff scored in the 12th minute and captain Kyle Altman added a late penalty as the Minnesota Stars ended a seven-game winless skid Saturday night in front of 2,435 at NSC Stadium. Joe Warren needed to make only one save en route to his seventh shutout of the North American Soccer League season. The Stars improved their record to 8-10-8 before embarking on a season-ending two game road trip. The team is currently holding onto the league's sixth and final playoff berth.
