
Minnesota Recalls Zucker

Des Moines, IA - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Thursday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Jason Zucker (pronounced ZOOK-ER) from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League and placed forward Mikael Granlund (pronounced (mih-kigh-EHL GRAHN-lund) on Injured Reserve with an upper-body injury.
Zucker, 21 (1/16/92), has tallied 10 points (6-410), including three power-play goals in 13 games with Iowa this season. He recorded two goals last night to help Iowa earn a 3-1 win at Chicago. Zucker has registered 11 shots in four games with Minnesota this season and owns seven points (4-37) in 30 career NHL games with the Wild.
The Wild continues a six-game road trip on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. in San Antonio. After two games at Texas and Abbotsford, the team returns home on Sunday, Dec. 15 to host Rockford at 4:05 p.m. For Sunday's game, the team will hold its first Teddy Bear Toss, where fans are encouraged to throw a stuffed animal on the ice for charity. Fans will be permitted to through Teddy Bears on the ice after the Wild score its first goal of the night. Fans may purchase the Subway Family Four Pack for the game, which features four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and Subway coupons starting at $44.
