Napheesa Collier led the Lynx with 20 points, nine rebounds, a career-high six assists and a career-high four steals. Collier becomes just the second player in Lynx history to have a stat line of 20+ points/9+ rebounds/6+ assists/4+ steals, joining Maya Moore (vs Tulsa, 8/19/12).
Collier also made a career-high nine free throws (9-of-11). Over the last four games, she's averaging 21.3 ppg, 10.5 rpg, 3.5 apg, 2.00 spg and 1.25 bpg in 34.0 mpg. Collier is shooting 55.1% from the floor (7-of-9 from long distance) and 77.4% (24-of-31) from the line during that stretch.
Crystal Dangerfield added 19 points tonight and two steals, marking her 10th double figure scoring effort of the season.
Dangerfield is averaging 16.6 ppg and 3.6 apg in 10 starts, shooting 54.4% (37-of-68) from two-point range, 39.6% (21-of-53) from three-point range and 90.6% (29-of-32) from the free throw line.
In her fifth-career start, Bridget Carleton shot 5-of-6 from the field, including a perfect 4-of-4 from deep for 14 points. She added five rebounds and six assists, notching her first career 10+point/5+rebound/5+ assist game.
At the final buzzer, Damiris Dantas contributed a season-high 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting along with six rebounds, three assists and two steals. This marks Dantas' seventh double-digit performance of the season. In the last four games, she's dealing a team-best 4.3 apg with an ast/TO ratio of 17/5 (3.4-to-1).
In 14:18 minutes off the bench, Shenise Johnson scored seven points, going 5-of-5 from the charity stripe. She is now 127-of-135 from the free throw line since the start of the 2016 season.
Minnesota Team Notes
The Lynx earned 35 attempts from the free throw line tonight, marking the fourth time in the last decade Minnesota has gone to the free throw line 35+ times. The franchise record for free throw attempts in a game is 45, set at Sacramento on Aug. 9, 2003.
