
Minnesota Lacrosse Acquires Ken Millin and Eric Pacey From Toronto

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. â Minnesota Lacrosse General Manager Marty O'Neill announced today that the National Lacrosse League (NLL) club has acquired forward Ken Millin and defenseman Eric Pacey from the Toronto Rock in exchange for forward Rusty Kruger. In addition, the club announced today that it has acquired transition player Shawn Cable and defenseman Rory Graham from the Colorado Mammoth in exchange for forward Curtis Smith.
Millin, 29 (1/29/75), recorded 27 points (12-15=27) and 48 loose balls in 14 games with Toronto last season. He led the club in face offs taken (218) and face offs won (117) and ranked second in face off percentage (.537). The 5-foot-11, 200-pound native of Brampton, Ontario has collected 84 points (33-51=84) and 176 loose balls in 56 career NLL contests during six seasons with Ontario and Toronto. Millin was originally selected in the first round (3rd overall) of the 1998 NLL Entry Draft by the Ontario Raiders.
Pacey, 25 (5/3/79), appeared in one match with the Rock last season. The 6-foot, 199-pound native of Toronto, Ontario has notched 21 points (10-11=21), 28 penalty minutes and 71 loose balls in 25 career NLL contests during three seasons with Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. Pacey was signed by Toronto as a free agent during the 2003-04 season. Cable, 24 (2/21/80), tallied six points (1-5=6) in five contests with Colorado last season. The 6-foot, 180-pound native of Prince George, British Columbia has recorded 32 points (17-15=32) and 68 loose balls in 19 career NLL contests during three seasons with Calgary and Colorado.
Graham, 27 (9/13/77), notched two assists, 19 loose balls and 22 penalty minutes in eight games with the Mammoth last year. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound native of Port Moody, British Columbia has totaled 36 points (14-22=36), 173 penalty minutes and 232 loose balls in 59 career NLL contests during six seasons with Toronto, Columbus, Ottawa and Colorado.
Minnesota selected Kruger from Toronto and Smith from Colorado in yesterday's NLL Expansion Draft. The Minnesota Lacrosse team will continue to build its roster via the 2004 NLL Entry Draft and the signing of free agents. The Entry Draft will be held on Tuesday, October 26 at 7:00 PM via conference call. The team will begin play in the NLL's Eastern Division this January.
