
Miners Fall to Otters

Evansville, IN - The Miners struggled mightily in their first trip to Bosse Field falling to the Otters 8-2 in 10 innings of play. Jeremy Gonzales had a tough night in relief for the Miners as he allowed five runs in three innings of work.
Mike Hebert got the start for the Miners tonight as he threw innings and only allowed one run and two hits. He also walked one and struck out two.
The Miners got on the board first after Jason Ganek scored on a wild pitch by Otters starter Bryce Morrow in the top of the third. The Miners got another run in the top of the 10th with a one out RBI double by Cannon Lester.
The rest of the Miners bullpen which consisted of Casey Fry, Albert Ayala and Max Peterson combined to allow two runs in three innings of work. Peterson worked a clean ninth.
