Saint John Riptide News Release
(SAINT JOHN, NB): The Saint John Mill Rats host the Island Storm tonight at 7 PM AST at Harbour Station in the second game of a home-and-home series.
The Storm pulled out a 120-116 win last night in Charlottetown, in a game that saw former league MVP Anthony Anderson tossed with two technicals in a span of mere minutes.
"It was a travesty that that happened, it really was," said Mill Rats President Ian McCarthy. "He was rolling and probably on his way to another 40 point night. But it is what it is and we'll have to regroup and handle our business tonight at home."
Despite trailing by double digits, and missing their star guard, the Mill Rats managed to tie the game at 101-101 with 5:54 remaining. However the Storm managed to make the plays down the stretch to pull out the narrow win.
Doors open at 6 PM.
Single game and flex tickets are on sale at the Harbour Station Box Office or by calling 506-657-1234 or by visiting www.harbourstation.ca.
