Lightning Dominate A's

April 16, 2016 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada) - London Lightning News Release

(LONDON, Ontario) - Saturday night at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning beat the Orangeville A's 129-97.

London's record is now 23-13.

Tyshawn Patterson finished with 25 points and seven assists. Akeem Scott had 20 points on 10-of-13 shooting.

The team shot 62 per cent from the field and 52 per cent from three point range.

"I'm happy with what they brought out tonight, but it's one game, we have lots of work to do. We just have to stay the course and keep playing with that type of energy," said coach Kyle Julius. "A lot of guys tonight didn't get a lot of shots but did the little things, and then other guys made shots. When you play with energy like that, you make more because of your confidence."

Every Lightning member had at least two points in the game.

London's next game is Friday, Apr. 22 against the Orangeville A's. The Lightning's final home game is Saturday, Apr. 30 against the Windsor Express. Tickets are available at the Budweiser Gardens box office or online.
