Milan Kytnar Named to Slovakia World Junior Team

Kytnar has appeared in all of Saskatoon's 26 games this year and currently sits tied for 3rd on the team in scoring with 6 goals and 13 assists for 19 points. After being acquired by the Blades from the Kelowna Rockets, Kytnar emerged as the team's number one centre playing alongside Captain Derek Hulak and rookie Burke Gallimore.
Milan was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the 5th round, 127th overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
The 2009 IIHL World Junior Hockey Championship will kick off on Friday, December 26th with Canada squaring off against the Czech Republic while Slovakia's first game will take place on Saturday, December 27th.

The Saskatoon Blades next action goes this Friday, November 28th when they host the Prince Albert Raiders. The game, which will feature two of the biggest rivals in the Western Hockey League, will be the Blades 11th straight home game and will conclude their longest home stand of the season. The club will then travel to Prince George immediately following the game and will play their first road game in over a month on November 30th against the Cougars.
