WALTON LEADS THRESHERS TO SERIES WIN ON SUNDAY

TJayy Walton drove in all five runs for Clearwater Sunday, connecting on a game-winning three-run homer in the fifth inning at BayCare Ballpark. The Mussels did not manage a single hit over the last four innings, losing the series 4-2.

STRIKEOUT KINGS

Despite losing last week's series, the Mighty Mussels got back-to-back 7-strikeout performances from Jeremy Lee and Charlee Soto over the weekend. Soto did not allow a hit over four innings, immediately picking off the only base runner he allowed. Therefore, Soto faced the minimum and threw every pitch out of the wind up. Lee, meanwhile, leads Fort Myers in strikeouts (13) by a healthy margin.

THIS IS HOUGH WE DO IT!

Nobody made a bigger impact for the Mussels during last week's series than Maddux Houghton. The 25-year-old went 5-for-10 with a double, triple, homer, two walks and eight RBI. His season OPS now rests at a lofty 1.317.

HERE COME THE HAMMERHEADS!

The Juptier Hammerheads come to Hammond Stadium this week for a six-game series. The Jupiter active roster currently features the top two prospects in the Miami Marlins' organization:

SAME COMPLEX, NEW NAME

While the Mussels' home stadium is still named William H. Hammond Stadium, the complex has been re-named the Lee Health Sports Complex. On November 16, the Minnesota Twins and Lee Health announced a 10-year naming right partnership that "designates Lee Health as the Twins' official Florida healthcare provider and sets the foundation for the future community." The complex had previously been known as the Lee County Sports Complex and the CenturyLink Sports Complex.

HOME RUNS & NO-HITTERS

The Mussels' have been known for two things over the last two seasons - no-hitters and home runs. The franchise has thrown three combined no-hitters over the past two seasons, and one of the nine-inning variety. They've also broken the franchise record for home runs in back-to-back seasons:
