Greenville Triumph SC News Release
Greenville, SC - The Greenville Triumph SC has announced midfielder Noah Pilato will return to the club for the 2023 season, pending league and federation approval.
Eager to be back on the pitch after facing a back injury in 2021, Pilato appeared in 10 matches with 6 starts in 2022 before ankle injuries hampered his season. Before his two injury-plagued seasons, Pilato had a stellar 2020 season in Greenville with 16 starts, 1,311 minutes logged, three goals and All-League midfielder honors.
Pilato has also appeared professionally in 13 matches for the Virginia based club, Loudon United, in USL Championship. An alumnus of Penn State University, Pilato racked up over 2,000 minutes of playing time for the Nittany Lions and appeared in 48 matches during his collegiate career.
Pilato rejoins the roster alongside midfielders, Aaron Walker and new addition, Tevin Shaw. Greenville begins its 2023 regular season on March 25th with a matchup versus the Richmond Kickers. The season opener will take place at the new home of the Triumph, Paladin Stadium.
