Michael & Son Named Presenting Sponsor for Norfolk Admirals Hockey

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals today announced that Michael & Son Services, Inc., has been named the presenting sponsor for Admirals hockey through the 2013-14 season.

Michael & Son provides plumbing, handyman, electrical and heating and air/conditioning services in the Hampton Roads area. Professionalism, high-quality standards and customer service are the integrated philosophy for each of the experienced and exceptional contractors at Michael & Son.

Michael & Son contractors are the most competent in the industry, and each contractor has gone through a very difficult selection process to work for the company. Services include a five-year warranty on all electrical jobs and a one-year warranty on plumbing and handyman jobs.

In addition to being presenting sponsor of the Admirals, Michael & Son is the exclusive HVAC and plumbing sponsor of the Admirals. Michael & Son will receive several other promotional opportunities, as well.

Admirals hockey enters its 23rd season of action in 2011-12. The Admirals have more than 750 wins, over 5,000 goals scored and have had more than four million fans pass through the turnstiles since 1989. More than 150 players who have played for the Admirals have played in the National Hockey League. The Admirals have been members of the American Hockey League since the 2000-01 season, serving as a top development team for the best prospects in hockey. The Admirals serve as the top development team for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The puck drops for the 2011-12 Admirals season on Friday, October 7, as the Admirals host the Charlotte Checkers at Norfolk Scope Arena.
