Burlington, NC- The Royals committed a season high, seven errors in Monday's game, as they were swept for the second time in three home series. The Kingsport Mets took Monday's day game, 10-5, with Hansel Robles earning the win, improving to 3-1. Angel Baez takes the loss for the B-Royals, dropping to 0-4. Burlington travels to Greeneville to open a three game series with the Astros on Tuesday.
The Mets tagged Baez for four runs in the first, with four of the first five batters reaching with a hit. The Royals committed two errors in the inning, as four runs crossed the plate on four hits. Kingsport extended their lead to five in the third, adding a run on a sacrifice fly from Tant Shepherd.
