Lisi Leads: Despite going assist-less in the last two games, MetroStars midfielder Mark Lisi is currently leading MLS in assists with three. On April 25 he saw his club record five-game assist streak (dating back to September 28 in a 1-1 tie at D.C. United) snapped. Lisi broke the team record on April 17, when he assisted a 50th minute goal by Fabian Taylor in the Metros' 3-2 win against D.C. at Giants Stadium. The previous MetroStars record of four was jointly held by Eduardo Hurtado (1998) and Mark Chung (1999 - 2000). The MLS mark was set by Martin Machon with eight for the Miami Fusion in 2000. Andy Williams registered a seven-game assist streak in 1998 for Columbus, which puts him in second in league history, while Jeff Cunningham (Columbus, 2001) and Carlos Valderrama (Tampa Bay, 1996-97) earned six-game assist streaks.
