
METRO SOCCER REPORT DEBUTS TONIGHT ON MSG NETWORK

Bi-weekly magazine show to provide closer look at MetroStars, area soccer scene
SECAUCUS, NJ (March 19, 2002) - The Metro Soccer Report, MSG Network's new bi-weekly magazine show, will make its debut tonight at 11:30 p.m. ET on MSG (check local listings for channel locations in your area).
Hosted by MetroStars TV play-by-play man JP Dellacamera and analyst Shep Messing, and produced by MetroStars game producer Eddie Caggianelli of MSG, new installments of The Metro Soccer Report will usually air every other Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET unless there is a live game scheduled. The show will also typically re-air on MSG on Friday mornings at 10:30 a.m. and on Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m.
This week's Metro Soccer Report will feature a look back at the MetroStars' 2001 season, sit-down interviews with Tim Howard, Clint Mathis and head coach Octavio Zambrano, and a 2002 season preview from Dellacamera and Messing.
The MetroStars will open the 2002 MLS season this Saturday night, March 23 at Giants Stadium when they host the New England Revolution at 7:30 p.m. (MSG Network, WADO 1280 AM Radio). Coverage on MSG will begin at 7 p.m. with the new MetroStars pre-game show.
