With a 101-84 victory over the Seattle Storm, the Western Conference top-seed Phoenix Mercury took a 1-0 lead in its best-of-three West semifinals series and now will return home to US Airways Center on Sunday at 4 p.m. one victory away from a trip to the Western Conference Finals.
Phoenix collected its first playoff victory since 1998 in a hostile environment and now has two home games to secure one victory and a series triumph. Tickets are still available but going fast for Sunday's Game 2 at US Airways Center at 4 p.m. and can be purchased by logging onto phoenixmercury.com.
