Memphis Grizzlies Recall Josh Selby

RENO, NEV.- The Memphis Grizzlies have recalled rookie guard Josh Selby from the Reno Bighorns, the team's NBA D-League affiliate.

Selby (6-2, 183 lbs.) played four games with the Bighorns, averaging 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 31.0 minutes per game. His time with the Bighorns was highlighted with 24 points and eight rebounds on Feb. 18 against the Idaho Stampede. He shot 48.3 percent from the field, including 50.0 percent on three pointers.

Drafted in the second round (49th overall) of the 2011 NBA Draft out of Kansas, Selby has played in 18 games with the Grizzlies this season, averaging 2.9 points, 1.4 assists, 0.7 rebounds and 0.4 steals in 10.3 minutes per game. His time in the NBA was highlighted on December 30 against the Houston Rockets when he had nine points and seven assists in 26 minutes.

The Bighorns return from the All-Star break to play the Bakersfield Jam on March 3 at the Reno Events Center.
