On Fan Appreciation Night, Republic FC and the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) teamed up to honor the 2024 Sacramento County Teachers of the Year, along with the 2023 Classified Employees of the Year. Since 1988, SCOE has celebrated its teachers and employees, and the important work they do to create educational environments throughout California.

Meet this year's honorees

Jamie Davis - 4th grade, Union House Elementary School (Elk Grove Unified School District) **Sacramento County Teacher of the Year**

Donja Harding - 6th-12th grade, Leroy Green Academy (Natomas Unified School District) **Sacramento County Teacher of the Year**

Brandy Ventittelli - 6th grade, Oak Hill Elementary School (Center Joint Unified School District)

Gemma Jauregui - 8th grade, Language Academy of Sacramento (Charter School Association)

Kristin Chavez - 7th & 8th grade Special Education, Elizabeth Pinkerton Middle School (Elk Grove Unified School District)

Elizabeth Isaacs - Kindergarten, Oak Chan Elementary School (Folsom Cordova Unified School District)

Kristy Apple - 9th-12th grade, Rio Vista High School (River Delta Unified School District)

Angelia Brye-Jones - 5th grade, Parkway Elementary School (Sacramento Unified School District)
