Meet the Maryland Maniacs Day

Maryland Maniacs News Release


Laurel, MD - The Maryland Maniacs of the Indoor Football League (IFL) will make an appearance at Gold's Gym located inside the Beltway Plaza Mall at 6222 Greenbelt Road in Greenbelt, MD.

The general public is invited to come meet the Maryland Maniacs on Saturday, March 21st from 12:00PM-6:00PM. There will be various organized games and activities. Kids will have the opportunity to showcase their football skills by participating in a number of football drills and competitions, winners will receive prizes. Promotional items will be given out throughout the day. Maryland Maniacs players and dancers will be on hand to sign autographs and meet their fans. The Maryland Maniacs Dancers will perform live in Beltway Plaza Mall's central location. Season tickets will be on sale at discounted prices and home opener game tickets will sell for as low as $7.

The Maniacs first annual "Maniac Idol" competition will also take place between 2:00PM-4:00PM that day in Beltway Plaza Mall's central location. Our fans are encouraged to come out and showcase their singing talent. Select fans may be offered an opportunity to sing the National Anthem at a MANIACS home game. Each contestant will receive a 5 minute audition window with judges on hand to weigh in on the contestants.

The Maryland MANIACS are members of the Indoor Football League (IFL) a national league with headquarters in Richmond, VA and 23 teams located across the United States. All home games are played at the Showplace Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD. Individual, group, corporate, and season tickets for the 2009 season are now available at the Show Place Arena, Ticketmaster, or by visiting MarylandManiacs.com. Season ticket packages start at just $98 per seat.
