Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels host the annual "Meet the Kernels' night on Tuesday, April 3rd starting at 5:00 PM. The event is FREE to the public, with food and beverage available for purchase.
The Kernels Bimm Ridder Diamond Shop will be open showcasing NEW merchandise for the 2018 season. The Kernels Ticket Office will be open, so fans can purchase tickets to all 70 Kernel home games, including Opening Day on Saturday, April 7th vs. Quad Cities 5:05 PM.
The 2018 Kernels will mix and mingle with fans from 5:15 to 6:45 PM. A short program begins at 7:00 PM as Kernels' manager Toby Gardenhire will introduce the team and talk briefly about the upcoming season. Then the Kernels will conduct a short workout under the lights at Perfect Game Field, (weather permitting) which is open to the public. Meet the Kernels Night will be held, rain or shine.

Individual game tickets and 10-game coupon books are on sale now by visiting www.kernels.com or calling the Kernels Ticket Office at (319) 896-7560. Ticket Office hours are 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday. 2018 season ticket packages are on sale now at the stadium, or by calling Kernels at (319) 363-3887.
The 2018 Kernels arrive in Cedar Rapids on Sunday, April 1st. The Kernels open the 2018 MWL season on Thursday, April 5th at Quad Cities and open the 2018 home season on Saturday, April 7th vs. Quad Cities at 5:05 PM.
