
Meet the 2008 Colts Saturday at Sunset Mall

SAN ANGELO, Texas - Fans won't have to wait until the San Angelo Colts' home opener on May 20 to get a look at this year's team.
The organization is having a "Meet the Colts" event from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2007 inside the Sunset Mall. The mall is located at 4001 Sunset Drive.
Every player on the Colts' 2008 Opening Day roster will be there to meet and greet the fans, as well as sign autographs. Third-year Colts manager, Doc Edwards, a former Major League player and manager, will also be in attendance. In addition, Colts general manager Mike Babcock will be present, along with the entire front office staff.
Furthermore, the Colts' mascot, "Casey," will be at the event, which is also a great opportunity for parents to sign up their children for Casey's Kids Club. For only $10 per child, any kid 12 and under can be part of the club and receive:
* A General Admission ticket to the 10 biggest promotional nights of the season * Access to all three Youth Clinics * An exclusive Kids Club T-shirt * A ticket to Opening Night & one other Fireworks Night * Great giveaway items such as: bobblehead dolls, replica jerseys, baseball caps, and youth baseball gloves * A membership card good for $1 admission to all other games throughout the season
Fans will also be able to schedule group outings and picnics at Foster Field this summer.
The Colts begin the 2008 season with six games on the road before returning to San Angelo for their home opener at Foster Field on Tuesday, May 20, 2008. First pitch will be at 7:05 p.m., and following the game fans will be treated to a Fireworks Show sponsored by Adobe Signs & T-shirts and KLST.
