Meet and greet a success for Sauk Valley Predators

The Sauk Valley Predators held a team meet and greet at Buffalo Wild Wings in Sterling, IL on Saturday night. The players, coaches and team owners were available for pictures and to sign autographs for their local fans. Parents of the players, as well as host families also attended the event to support their Predators team.

"Buffalo Wild Wings has a terrific sports atmosphere and were fantastic hosts for our first annual meet and greet event", stated Leah Grenoble, Owner and Director of Operations. "It was really enjoyable to see our fans bring in basketballs and t-shirts to be signed by the team".

All the players arrived this week and quickly became acquainted with their new host families. The Predators began their first practice with their newly assigned coach, Kevin Keathley, this past Thursday evening. By the time Saturday came around, they were ready for some down time and socialization. The schedule is going to become very full with their basketball season kicking off right along with the holidays.

The Sauk Valley Predators will start their 2012 season on Friday, January 6th at the Homer Musgrove Fieldhouse in Sterling, IL. Individual and season tickets can be purchased online at www.saukvalleypredators.com. You can also view the other Predator players and full schedule as well.

The Predators are part of the Premier Basketball League's Central Division along with the following teams; Chicago Muscle, Northwest Indiana Stars, Central Illinois Drive, Indiana Diesels and the St. Louis Phoenix. The PBL's Eastern Division includes the Lake Michigan Admirals, Charleston Gunners, Scranton Wilkes-Barre Steamers, Dayton Air Strikers and the Rochester Razorbacks.
