HOUSTON - Houston Comets G Dominique Canty broke the fourth finger on her right hand during Sunday night's win against Seattle and did not travel with the team today to Connecticut. She will be evaluated by team doctors on a later date and no timetable has been given for her recovery.
Canty (5-9, Alabama) is averaging 10.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 15 games (15 starts) for the Comets this season. She is currently ranked 10th in the WNBA in field goal percentage, connecting on 51.4 percent of her shot attempts.
