Oshawa Generals News Release
Oshawa, Ontario - The Oshawa Generals today announced the trade of goaltender Kevin Bailie to the London Knights. In return the Generals receive the Knights' 4th round pick in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection.
"Kevin was a major contributor during his time with the Generals and we greatly appreciate all his efforts," General Manager Jeff Twohey commented. "We were simply in a position where we had to resolve our depth at the position. It was important to settle Kevin in a positive spot where he has family in London. We wish him well and thank him for everything he did for the Generals."
Bailie joined the Oshawa Generals for the 2008-2009 OHL season after the team drafted him 16th overall in the 2008 OHL Priority Selection. In his four years with the team, Bailie totalled 42 wins in 109 games with a save percentage of .890 and two shutouts.
