
Mechanics Partner With Youth Travel Hockey

FRASER, MI- Motor City Mechanics President, John Tull is pleased to announce that the Mechanics have teamed up with youth hockey to form the first season of Motor City Mechanics Youth Travel Hockey.
There are a number of different levels that children can take part in depending on their age. They are listed in order by birth-date year.
Mite A, Mite AA (birthday after 1996)
Squirt A 1996, Squirt AA 1995
Pee Wee A 1994, Pee Wee AA 1993
Bantam A 1992, Bantam AA 1991
Midget A 1989-90
"Our program is based on our philosophy that a solid hockey program promotes the values which are required in good hockey, that also are invaluable as life skills," said Co-President, Len DiGrande.
All games and practices will be held at Great Lakes Sports City, located in Fraser, Michigan. In partnership with the travel hockey program, the Mechanics will provide, home and away jerseys, pants, socks, bags, a chance to skate with Mechanics players and use of the newly constructed private locker room.
"We are dedicated to providing a fun and challenging environment to enjoy the great sport of hockey," said Co-President, Len DiGrande.

The Mechanics open the 2005-06 season October 21st when they visit the Missouri River Otters and come join the Mechanics when they open up at home against the Kalamazoo Wings on Friday October 28th.
Every fan that enters the Garage will receive a complimentary opening night collectible game puck sponsored by McDonald's. Opening night is also a youth hockey celebration as all youth teams are encouraged to come join the fun and participate in the first intermission team parade, and meet McDonald's own, Ronald McDonald.
